There’s something timeless and charming about a classic Queenslander home. With their wide verandas, intricate fretwork, and weatherboard facades, these homes are as iconic to Brisbane as the jacarandas in spring. But while the architecture stands the test of time, the same can’t always be said for the timber decks that accompany them. Recently, we had the pleasure of bringing a stunning spotted gum deck back to life on one of these beloved heritage homes.
